New Orleans
Probably my favorite restoration ever. This classic 1920s Craftsman bungalow had everything I loved about the style, including a porte cochere. It needed a lot of love, including removing a dividing wall in the middle of the kitchen which has had the laundry. And a weird 20° angled wall diving a three level bathroom and what would become the third bedroom/office. We kept that funky stained glass window. We were able to keep most original features, even the upper cabinets in the living room, and ironing board closet in the kitchen.
