Heights Restoration…
Both native Floridians, Pat grew up in Tampa and Sloan in Lakeland. Pat is the designer and builder, Sloan is the real estate agent and voice of reason.
Pat Floyd has explored creativity in many mediums since childhood. From traditional art and music to professionally as a website and graphic designer and eventually as an art director in advertising creating campaigns for brands.
What initially began as a side hustle for extra cash turned into another creative endeavor.
Our approach to old homes is steeped in respect for tradition and preservation. Not what can we replace, but what can we keep. Original millwork, wood floors, even windows. If anything is missing, let’s put it back in with salvaged items or replicas. We want the inside of a bungalow to look just as timeless as the outside. With Pat as the designer on these projects, Sloan is the taste meter, to ensure Pat’s direction stay true to our goals.
This ideology has guided our approach to new builds, as well. Starting from scratch, what details can we incorporate into the design that feels vintage without breaking the bank.
