A design-only project, we were hired to reimagine a townhome to be a Florida vacation rental. Every project has a budget. And this one we made stretch to encompass almost the entire townhome, focusing on those areas that would make the most impact. In the main living area, it meant picture frame molding on the walls, black paint on the stairs, and a fireplace surround remodel using timeless brick. Downstairs we turned an unassuming dark hallway into an even darker, moodier hallway. This is the most used entrance to the home from the garage, it had to be special. We also turned an empty room, plumbed for a sink, into a guest suite with a kitchenette.
